CORONA VIRUS PROTOCOL 

THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOL IS TO BE FOLLOWED BY ALL STAFF WHEN VISITING PROPERTIES: 
 
Inform tenant / homeowner that you are following a protocol to minimise the risk of transmission of Covid-19. Either in advance by phone, or immediately on arrival. Use this as an opportunity to establish if there is any reason why you should not attend because the occupants have or have had contact with the virus. 
 
Wear gloves at all times whilst in property. Dispose of gloves properly after each job and do not re-use in another property 
 
Use a hand sanitiser after each job or visit to public place (e.g. merchants) 
 
Maintain a 2-meter distance from tenant / homeowner or other people in the course of your day. 
 
Cover mouth when coughing or sneezing either with a tissue of sleeve (not hands) 
 
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean. 
 
Dispose of tissues / gloves in accordance with government guidelines. 
 
Offer to wear a face mask if the tenant / homeowner prefers. 
 
Wipe down with bacterial cleaner any surfaces that have been frequently touched.
